Quotes From Ann Coulter

Here is what is probably the most interesting part of this site: a collection of quotes from extreme right pundit Ann Coulter. Most of these quotes are taken from her columns from numerous websites or from excerpts from other sources. Bold means that it is a quote; otherwise its me. Some of these statements are so stupid that they're almost funny, though at times they can be very scary.

"If you wanted to teach people about the great things about America, a college campus is the last place youíd send them. Even fanatical Muslim terrorists donít hate America like liberals do." Ann Coulter -- CPAC conference, 2002

This pretty much sums up Ann's philosophy. I thought that college campuses are where people want to continue their education and prepare themselves for the real world. But apparently they exist to transform people into "America-hating liberals." Ah, how little did I know.

"On the bright side, and in conclusion, at least college campuses serve as sort of internment camp for useless leftists in wartime. We know where they are, this way. And, as General Patton said, 'I love it when they come out and shoot at me because then I know where they are and I can shoot the bastards.'" -- Ann Coulter, CPAC conference, 2002

Total bullshit. And as for twisting General Patton's wartime quote, the thought of this woman on a college campus with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other is frightening.

(mocking peace rallies on college campuses) "Better people than camel-riding nomads have shown they respect force." -- Ann Coulter, CPAC conference, 2002

Camel-riding nomads? Frankly this requires little comment as the above-quote speaks for itself.

(talking about the airlines' mistreatment of an Arab-American Secret Service agent) "This man should not be allowed near the president with a loaded gun. At the least, he's an immature nut. At worst, he's a ticking time bomb, in a simmering rage at America's supposed mistreatment of Muslims.

These alleged civil liberties concerns have only one purpose: to give Muslims a cushion for another attack on America. There is no principled basis for opposition to using Arab appearance as a factor in airport screening procedures." -- Ann Coulter's "If the profile fits...," 1/10/02

Another anti-Arab screech from Ann Coulter. More baseless claims. It astounds me that people in general could admire such an insane woman.

"Airports scrupulously apply the same laughably ineffective airport harassment to Suzy Chapstick as to Muslim hijackers. It is preposterous to assume every passenger is a potential crazed homicidal maniac. We know who the homicidal maniacs are. They are the ones cheering and dancing right now. We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

"Congress could pass a law tomorrow requiring that all aliens from Arabic countries leave....We should require passports to fly domestically. Passports can be forged, but they can also be checked with the home country in case of any suspicious-looking swarthy males." -- Coulter's columns within two weeks after September 11, 2001

In fact, Coulter's statements were so outrageous that the conservative National Review fired her. Even conservatives condemned her comments. What Ann espouses here on "aliens from Arabic countries" is blatantly unconstitutional. And I feel the "kill their leaders" and "convert them to Christianity" parts are particularly instructive.

(talking about the death of Princess Diana) "Her children knew she's sleeping with all these men. That just seems to me, it's the definition of 'not a good mother.' Is everyone just saying here that it's okay to ostentatiously have premarital sex in front of your children? [Diana is] an ordinary and pathetic and confessional - I've never had bulimia! I've never had an affair! I've never had a divorce! So I don't think she's better than I am." -- MSNBC, 9/12/97

Ann [conveniently] forgets that Princess Diana fought to stop the use of land mines in what was the war-torn Balkans at the time. Furthermore Princess Diana helped children and the elderly who fell victims to landmines. As for Ann Coulter, has she ever helped any war victims or visit childrens' hospitals to ease their suffering and give them hope for a better life? I don't think so. And frankly Ann Coulter's comment certainly won't fly with our friends in Great Britain.

"If Islam is not responsible for terrorism, why is Vinnie responsible for slavery? I'm just trying to get the rules straight on collective guilt. It's perplexing to hear liberals carrying on so about how peaceful most Muslims are. That's surely true, just as the vast majority of whites oppose slavery. But the very same people who are anxious to quell the rare anti-Arab hate crimes in response to 19 Arabs attacking America are the ones who are usually found ginning up hate crimes against whites for slavery." -- from Ann Coulter's "Affirmative action for Osama," October 11, 2001

Clearly a bunch of horseshit. The FBI along with state and local authorities reported more than a thousand instances of hate crimes against Arab and Muslim Americans in wake of September 11. As for the Islamic faith President George W. Bush said it best when he said, "'The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don't represent peace. They represent evil and war. [Those] who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don't represent the best of America, they represent the worst of humankind, and should be ashamed of that behavior.'"

"In contemplating college liberals, you really regret, once again, that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals by making them realize that they could be killed, too. Otherwise they will turn out into outright traitors." -- CPAC conference, 2002

Frankly this is one of the most scariest things I heard in a long time. To the effect of the above quote if Ann Coulter wants to start a pogrom against a sizeable percentage of the American population because of their political beliefs, she's making all the right moves. And not a day goes by (in Ann's fantasyland) that liberals are the anti-American extremists who commit acts of terrorism or are the cause of America's societal ills. If it weren't for liberals like Mickey Schwerner, James Chaney, and Andy Goodman, there would still be segregated institutions, separate drinking fountains, minorities having to sit in the back of the bus, and so forth.

The "backbone of the Democratic Party" is a "typical fat, implacable welfare recipient." -- Coulterís column, 10/29/99

Oooooo-kay...... If the backbone of the Democratic Party is a "typical fat, implacable welfare recipient," explain how Democrats are able to hold public office or are able to gain funding for their political campaigns if all they receive is a welfare check.

"I don't know, how about ... NO ARABS?" -- Ann Coulter's "Would Mohamed Atta object to armed pilots?" 5/30/02

Okay, now let's deport guys like Hollywood actor Tony Shalhoub (Men In Black I and II, Thirteen Ghosts), 1986 Indianapolis 500 Winner Bobby Rahal, singing sensation Paula Abdul, or football star and autism awareness spokesperson Doug Flutie. Coulter's blatant racism definitely won't fly with sports fans and movie buffs when they read this.

"Ethnic profiling is the only reasonable security measure that has been thwarted in the war on terrorism." Ann Coulter's "Mineta's Bataan Death March," 2/28/02

This is the blatantly racist side of Ann Coulter that she is so proud of. Ethnic profiling is by far un-American and unconstitutional. Our Founding Fathers who wrote our Bill of Rights and Constitution said "All men are created equal," not "All white, Anglo-Saxon Christian men are created equal." Then again what the hell did those guys know?

(talking about Norman Mineta's cautioning the use of racial profiling against terrorism) "[Secretary Mineta] is burning with hatred for America. He has taken the occasion of the most devastating attack on U.S. soil to drone on about how his baseball bat was taken from him as a child headed to one of Franklin Roosevelt's Japanese internment camps.

As Mineta has endlessly recounted in interviews of late: 'I remember on the 29th of May, 1942' -- note that he remembers the day -- 'when we boarded the train in San Jose under armed guard, the military guard, I was in my Cub Scout uniform carrying a baseball, baseball glove and a baseball bat. And as I boarded the train, the MPs confiscated the bat on the basis it could be used as a lethal weapon.'

Good G-d! A guard took Mineta's baseball bat as a child, and as a result he's subjecting all of America to the Bataan Death March! Someone please give him a baseball bat." -- Ann Coulter, "Mineta's Bataan Death March" 2/28/02

Does this woman have sand in her vagina or something? Norman Mineta by far is one of the most patriotic citizens in this country. Despite adversity and being interned at a Japanese internment camp during World War II, Mineta served this country faithfully as a U.S. Army intelligence officer in Japan and Korea. He was also the mayor of San Jose and served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 20 years. He also helped establish the Americans with Disabilities Act. To say Norman Mineta is subjecting the United States to the Bataan Death March and burning with hatred for America because of anti-Japanese discrimination he faced as a child is far from the truth. If Mineta is "burning with hatred for America" then why is he the Secretary of Transportation for the Bush Administration?

(talking about Halle Berry's Oscar for "Best Actress" in Monster's Ball) "Berry said her triumph was a victory 'for every nameless, faceless woman of color who now has a chance because this door tonight has been opened.' Yes, at long last, the 'glass ceiling' had been broken. Large-breasted, slightly cocoa women with idealized Caucasian features finally have a chance in Hollywood! They will, however, still be required to display their large breasts for the camera and to discuss their large breasts at some length with reporters." -- Ann Coulter's "I like black people too, Julia!" 4/1/02

Hmmm..... I thought Halle Berry's Oscar was about her stunning performance in Monster's Ball and how it made movie history. Now Annie turns the 2002 Academy Awards into a race issue and talks about how "large-breasted, slightly cocoa women with idealized Caucasian features finally have a chance in Hollywood." Also, Ann seems to talk a lot about Halle Berry's "large breasts" in this above quote and throughout her column. Do I detect some jealousy here?

(Again, talking about the 2002 Academy Awards) "Whenever white liberals are in trouble, they always run to the blacks. Immediately after the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, Monica went to a Washington Wizards game where she hoisted some poor unsuspecting black girl onto her lap in full view of the cameras. Bill Clinton dropped the subtlety and dashed off to Africa. After his abomination of a presidency, Jimmy Carter built housing in Harlem.

Apparently, Oscars night was Hollywood's shot at patronizing blacks to generate goodwill -- perhaps as wartime penance for its long-standing hatred of America." -- Ann Coulter's "I like black people too, Julia!" 4/1/02

Now here's an anti-African American side of Ann Coulter that finally came out of the closet. Here she stereotypes all blacks as being liberals. Not so. Political talk-show host Dr. Alan Keyes and anti-welfare activist Star Parker are conservative African-Americans. The fact this woman wrote about Hollywood and entertainment is truly an amazing thing.

"My libertarian friends are probably getting a little upset now but I think that's because they never appreciate the benefits of local fascism." -- MSNBC 2/8/97

I feel this requires little comment. Benito Mussolini tried that already in World War II Italy and it didn't work.

(talking to a disabled Vietnam vet) "People like you caused us to lose that war." -- MSNBC

Disgusting. This disabled Vietnam veteran fought against communism when no one else like Ann would. She was fired from MSNBC because her comment was so bad.

"I think there should be a literacy test and a poll tax for people to vote." -- Hannity & Colmes, 8/17/99

Another racist side of Ann that is all too common. Literacy tests and poll taxes were used in the South, all to prevent African-Americans from voting. Now who should be subjected to poll taxes (in Ann's fantasyland)? Liberals. Who makes up a large number of liberals in this country? Minorities.

"[Clinton] masturbates in the sinks." -- Rivera Live 8/2/99

This may sound strange to people looking at this site, I also didn't like Clinton because the man had no morals. But did Ann actually see this? And if so please describe the details to us.
